Hello Everyone,
We are truly excited and honored to share this beautiful song with you all. This piece was originally sung by the respected Ustad Khalil Soorabi, with lyrics beautifully written by Khaliq Gul. Their contribution to Balochi music is timeless, and we hold deep respect for the artistic value, emotion, and cultural beauty they brought into this song.
Many people often message me and ask why I mostly use female voices in my recreated Balochi songs. The reason is very simple and heartfelt: our Balochi music already has so many legendary male singers whose original performances are incredibly powerful and unforgettable. I never want to disturb, replace, or lessen the artistic value of their voices and legacy. That is why I often choose to recreate these songs using female vocals, not to compete with the originals, but to present them in a fresh and respectful new style while keeping the original soul alive.
For this version, we have reimagined the song using modern music production and AI assisted enhancement, while doing our best to preserve the emotional depth and beauty of the original composition. Our intention is not to replace the original, but to pay tribute to it in a creative and respectful way for today’s audience.
The visuals used in this video also carry a very personal and emotional connection. Some of the scenic views shown in the video are inspired by the breathtaking beauty of Switzerland, which we used to create a peaceful and cinematic atmosphere. In addition, the two children shown in the video, the kid playing bansori and the one playing benjo, are actually based on our real childhood photos. One of them is me, and the other is my elder brother. With the help of AI, we brought those childhood memories back to life in a beautiful artistic form. This made the project even more special and deeply personal for us.
The story shown in the video is purely fictional and has no connection to any real life event or situation beyond these personal visual inspirations. It has been created only for storytelling, emotion, and artistic expression. Through this project, we wanted to combine soulful music, cinematic visuals, nostalgia, and meaningful storytelling into one heartfelt experience.
This entire project has been created by Team Kalmati, under the leadership of Hafeez Kalmati, founder of Kalmati Studio. Through these AI powered musical recreations, we continue exploring new creative possibilities while staying connected to the beauty, emotion, and heritage of Balochi music.
We sincerely hope you enjoy this version and feel the love, effort, memories, and respect behind it. Your support, prayers, and encouragement always mean so much to us.
Thank you for being part of this journey. ❤️
